There are two parts to the theory test - multiple choice questions and the hazard perception. You will need to pass both parts of the test at the same time.
You can call 0300 200 1122 or book online, www.direct.gov.uk. You will need your driver's licence number and a debit or credit card. You can only apply for a practical test after you have passed your theory test.

Yes. The examiner will issue you with a pass certificate which you can use until you receive your full licence. However, you will need to have valid insurance, MOT and tax on your vehicle.
Pass Plus is a recognised scheme set by the DSA which can help reduce your insurance cost. The Pass Plus course includes motorway, bad weather and night driving. This all increases your experience as a driver.
You will need to reapply for your provisional licence and retake both your theory and practical tests.
